It is true that granite and quartz countertops dominate the market today, but customers are slowly turning to more durable and long-lasting solutions, such as porcelain.
The main advantage compared to granite is that porcelain is non-porous and therefore requires no maintenance. It will never stain, and it cleans very easily with any household product. Additionally, we can find it in thinner thicknesses, making it more suitable for wall applications such as backsplashes, fireplace surrounds, or shower walls.
Compared to quartz, we find the advantage of heat resistance, which quartz countertops do not offer. This makes porcelain a versatile material that combines the benefits of other materials without the drawbacks!
